best meal so far. the two new courses, nodoguro bouillabaisse and tomato, clam somen, were excellent. and the beef course got upgraded to a rib eye from a strip.

Too hard for me to say, but we went literally as they were closing down, think the carne asada got a bit tough as it was kept warm. But I also thought the steak could have used more seasoning and didn’t catch that much charcoal flavor. Would rather judge during prime time.

We agree on top dishes, and the mehikari also well done. Pre-ordering 2x aji toast is the move (just don’t look too close at the a la carte price). Texture on it was sublime. Great company, great meal. Well designed interior IMO. My kind of place.

Disappointing it’s been getting a lot of hype, you’re probably right though sounds like an off time when you guys stopped in
