COVID-19 SF Bay Area lockdown

SF-only delivery.

Delivery to most of the Bay Area, includes local producers such as Acme, Straus, Alexandre Family Farm, Terra Firma Farms, Semifreddi’s, Mary’s chicken, Llano Seco, and Judy’s eggs.

Starting Friday.

In addition to their usual sandwiches and so on, Augie’s menu today includes milk, butter, eggs, flour, sugar, yeast, whole chickens, carrots, onions, potatoes, celery, beets, toilet paper, tissue paper, and disposable gloves for prepaid contact-free pickup. See menu and instructions on their web site.

Cafe food, tinned fish, spice mixes, pickles, preserves, whole bean or ground coffee, wine, flour, sugar …

Smart Foodservice is on Instacart.

Chez Panisse has apparently been doing pop-ups, though they’re currently sold out.

I’m supposedly on their mailing list, and got no notice.

For the record, Elk is a long way from the Bay Area.

I love Emilias. That guy is really cool. Plus already the perfect business model for these times.

Emilia’s is just a few blocks from my house. I was excited to have serious pizza in the neighborhood, but within weeks of opening he was selling out every day before the time I get around to deciding not to cook.

La Farine is reportedly open.

I got some of their stuff through Cream Co. but they’re also selling direct. I wasn’t happy with the salumi but the ham is great.
