Toronto and Vancouver/Richmond are definitely the best even though I never eaten in either places. Just second and third hand talk from HK’ers.
Where would the SF Bay Area rank? Third place?
NYC, or SGV, 4th/5th?

Drooling!
Damn you didn’t mess around with that Montreal trip!
How did you like the Montreal style bagels?
Schwartz vs Katz vs Langers how would rank?
having grown up in the greater toronto area, markham/scarborough chinese food is way way way better than bay area. Vancouver (Richmond) is comparable to GTA.
I hope you got more than just oysters at joe beef, haha. Next time you should try Mckiernan or Larry’s/Lawrence!
Probably going to get flamed here but Langer’s>Schwartz’s>Katz’s
We did. Wish I could say it lived up to the legend but they seem to be running on autopilot now. Oysters were fantastic, though.
yep, fully checked out over there. Next time go to Foxy in Griffintown.
Personally: Schwartz’s > Langer’s (have not had Katz’s)
Sadly a day it not nearly enough time in Montreal
im from montreal and though slightly biased
Schwartz’s/ Lester’s/ > Katz>Langers
Pane bianco > pizzeria bianco. I love their slices here
Also some kazunori to go action very reasonable for the quality.
Fat + Flour Culver City is now open!!! Sergio is in the house, and the first visit was excellent.
Tea game is upped as well.
Paninos and salads on offer for lunch, too…
All I want for Christmas… (Eataly Century City)
Have to admit I didn’t love the pie I had way back when she was doing a pop up w/ Bludso’s, but since this location is so close, I think I will give it a whirl. Any particular slice you recommend?
Chess
Which restaurants are this pic and the one in your previous post from?
