Favorite Restaurants San Fernando Valley (SFV)?

88 Chinese is probably the move in that general area.

EDIT: dang looks like it closed recently. Apart from BambooI think there’s a Chinese place next to the 99 Ranch, as well as several decent to good Thai places

Izaka-ya by Katsu-ya

yes it has the Katsu-ya name but hidden underneath, is a $22.50 lunch special chirashi from M-F. Comes with miso soup, salad, and extremely high QPR chirashi -there’s probably at least 7 different varieties of seafood in this badboy. $22.50!!!

Salina just opened in Porter Ranch a couple of days ago. Same owners as Camphor.

Good higher end Italian option for the area, I’m sure they will do really well. It seems like the kind of place that you’d find in the Arts District or Weho or Ventura Blvd. Their Szechuan fried Calamari was my favorite dish of the night. Drinks were all very good. They have Brooklyn Kura Sake as an option along with a $5000 bottle of screaming eagle

There are kinks they need to iron out, but I’m confident they will in a short amount of time.
