We finally got a reservation! Our verdict: the same (high) quality as Mother Wolf and very similar food, but harder to get into.
Also I thought the swordfish was overcooked. I like it juicier with a tinge of pink in the center. The thin cut may have made that impossible though.

I saw him at Funke a few weeks ago and also noticed that in person he appears lighter both literally and figuratively.

i did, i also think funke > felix > mother wolf.
highlights were the crab cake, persimmons, squash blossoms, la mortazza, and meringata. there was some clumping in the pasta.
