I’ve walked by Quiadaiyn but never tried it. Maybe it’s time to give it a whirl (esp if they make their own tortillas?)…

I was at Quiadaiyn on Thursday night and had a great meal. I had the enchiladas molé coloradito, which was delicious. My friend had the chichilo, which he described as “very interesting.” Tortillas were good.

After being so stoked on it to begin with I had a super not good (and very expensive) meal at A Ti a couple weeks ago. Didn’t try the mole tho. Gotta get to some of these other spots too - Chiguacle looks great and I’ve never heard of it.
This new LA Taco list format looks great, but really doesn’t work very well on mobile.

oh what happened?? I’ve had some great meals That I thought were quite inexpensive. We usually do a toaa as tostada, crispy beef tacos, a salad, and the duck and it comes out to like 60 a person with a drink and a ton of food. I like their tortillas a good deal

Well I don’t want to write it all the way off! Maybe it was just an off night but I had a tuna tostada (pretty decent but very heavy on oil), an oyster mushroom taco (super greasy and mushy, real miss), and a martini-style cocktail (didnt work, also had oil added on top for some reason). I left hungry but also felt sick later on from all of the grease, and was like $70 just for me.

I used to go to Quiadaiyn until one time I got take out and they gave me someone else’s order which was about half of what I ordered (3 person order). I thought the bag was light but didn’t check until I got home. I called them, explained and they said they would refund my bill, but that never happened despite follow ups spanning several weeks. I literally just shrugged and gave up.
Rocio’s and La Casita are great. I’ve not tried the dish at BSC but need to. Is Chulita any good?
