I’m making a Greek Macedonian Pork roast based on Meni Valle’s pork kebab recipe in her cookbook, Thessaloniki. It calls for cumin and paprika.

My friend’s Greek aunt and godmother fried zucchini, hot peppers, and okra in oil until crispy when I visited their Greek village during the Olympics in 2004.
I prepared my shishito peppers and zucchini in the same way last night.
