Serious questionāare people using bots? Not for resale or whatever (which I think is/was a problem with French Laundry), but just to get their own reservation? I consider myself really good at this kind of twitch-and-buy game, but there are just too many steps with some degree of decision making in Tock for it to go THAT fast.
No idea on bots but Iāve had success in the past getting a resy as long as youāre flexible on dates. Aim for weekdays rather than weekends which everyone goes for.

When do reservations go up every month?
10AM on the first of every month.
This month I expanded on @rlw strategy of refreshing Tock on mobile data.
On my laptop I opened the clock with visible seconds hand and timed my refresh to it.
But I think the real, ultimate trick is to view this as a solo dinner.
I spent five seconds trying to find tables for two by mistake and kept getting rejected. Somehow I still managed to snag for one
