Unexpected Valentines Dinner out this weekend at one of our favorite Taco Tables, Tacos 5 y 10 in Mid City. They make Tlayudas over flame brushing on generous amounts of aciento as it crisps. They also have some non-traditional meets like Al Pastor (cut from the spit)
I also get two meats, Oaxaca Chorizo and their Al Pastor! They even throw in some charry pineapple.
They put it in a pizza box to take to go (which helps melts all the Oaxacan cheese they add) and it wasn’t until I got home that I realized that they gave me the Valentine’s Day edition. It was SO adorable. These guys are the best.
Their tacos aren’t shabby either. Handmade tortillas.
