January 2020 Rundown

They both serve different cold noodle dishes. I have always liked Yu Chun on Olympic though.

Koreans got the cold noodle game on lock! In Ktown it’s gotta be like 6 different cold noodle dishes.

In OC, Mo Ran Gak serves the best. The bibim and mul are both very good as well as KBBQ (it’s kinda like Parks of the OC Korean food scene, except less seats longer waits)

You gonna do a cold noodle journey/adventure?

Great weather for this. Don’t forget about Gil Mok for their legendary dong chi mi.

In the OC we like Eight Korean BBQ best for their mul neangmyeon. Everybody has their own style but we like the broth to be on the less sweet side. It’s perfect with all the grilled meats and kim chee. We haven’t been since Feb or Mar right before lockdown. I wonder if they are even open.

Thanks for the recommendations @JeetKuneBao! I’ll have to try these places soon. Although I wonder how well chilled noodles will hold up for takeout? (It might all stick together?)

They are actually my favorite in Ktown for soup and cold noodles. I don’t know why they don’t get more foodie coverage

Should be fine for a four seat-AC on-street view experience with music of your choice!

The Double Smashburger and animal style fries are pretty damn good here. Better than most brewery food.

Yup I agree Green Cheek has some of the best brewery food around. Highland Park is up there as well. Most everybody else outsources to food trucks.

+1. Not to mention two of the best breweries beer wise too. Funny how that goes hand in hand.
