L.A. Times announces bringing back a dedicated Food Section on Thursdays

It’s not just semantic. The world isn’t safe. It’s out to kill you and sooner or later it will. For most employers, employee health and safety is low priority, and the US government does less than many others to mitigate that.

I can’t begin to reconcile Peterson’s complaint about feeling unsafe in his white-collar job with his bio.

You continue to be puzzlingly obtuse, but let’s engage just for fun. What definition(s) of “safe” are acceptable to you?

You say it’s not just semantic, but then continue to make a semantic argument, that “Safe” only means physical safety.

And if you’ll read Peterson’s letter, he repeatedly states that he himself was privileged from being Peter’s friend (not to mention his being a man, attending a Good college etc.), but he was easily able to recognize the “hostile and inhospitable” work environment created in the Food section for others who were not as lucky.

He was describing his personal feelings (“… unlike anything I have experienced before. It felt both unsafe …”)
