I forgot they sold it, was thinking it had closed. I can’t quite imagine it without Lorella and Massimo.

I tried Binu Bonu, Lorella and Massimo’s West Portal wine bar. Great wine selection, best prosciutto I’ve had in the US (except for their old place La Nebbia), really good octopus dish, ricotta with corbezzolo honey, crazy crostini with ricotta, anchovy, truffle, and chocolate, etc. Worth going out of your way.

I forgot another Massimo invention, pancetta with olive oil and Sardinian red shrimp colatura. I don’t usually like pancetta as a cold cut, but sliced really thin with the colatura this was great.
