Man, I’m so sick of the corona shutdown. I want to puzzle over the “food” at Vespertine or get wasted on wine at Maude. Can’t say I’d rather be in Florida or Texas though; delivery in LA beats the best they have to offer.

in spite of this did I order like an asshole? you bet your bottom dollar I did.
get: soboro don, liver, chicken oyster, negi-ma(?) (green onion and chicken thigh), all vegetables (eggplant was very nice), some outside gizzard (?) it’s like the really thinly sliced gizzard that’s really rich with a crunchier texture than the usual gizzard. a lot of things you won’t find on the online menu but you have to ask to get!

This reminded me of a casual Japanese restaurant my family frequented. Their sushi-making itamae would handle the check and give change, then go right back to sushi-making. Luckily, we almost ordered cooked food coming from their back kitchen exclusively.

Read it and wondered where he serves.
At Mel’s Drive-In in Santa Monica, they are running a special,Cheeseburger, fries and drink for $10. They have a patio set up in the parking lot. The fries are terrific, properly crispy, and the cheeseburger is good as well.

Our governors and mayors are being asked in every interview why CA has exploded with C19 cases again.

What on earth?!! It was a health department violation for the same person to handle money and food even before we were hit with C19. The coronavirus is the universe penalizing is for how nasty we are.
