I was in Paris last week and had a glass of the 2014 at Les 110 de Taillevent and enjoyed it with their asparagus gribiche. Did not come off as particularly high-alcohol to my palate, although it’s also listed at 14%. Fun to try, probably wouldn’t spend $100 on a glass again. Interesting that L’Arpege was also offering by the glass!
I splurged on L’Arpege in 2012 and enjoyed it. I respect vegan cooking, but nothing I’ve seen of his cooking approach has got me wanting to go back and spend at that level.

Yeah, too bad he got rid of meat. Those were always the best dishes on the menu, even with his move towards vegetables over the past decades.
