it’s a nice sourdough that’s served piping hot with butter. Can’t go wrong
PSA: Maison Sota at Lielle May 11 for OpenTable Friends in Town.
Goddamn wish I wasn’t out of town, strongly recommend you go if you can get a table. Great (maybe best?) QPR at our meal in Paris, and the best lobster dish of my life (so far). Style is complimentary to Lielle’s, should be a great dinner!
Maison is fantastic.
Back at Lielle tonight. This is easily in my top 5 in LA. Again just did one supplement pasta and we are both very, very full.
How was the new menu compared to the previous ones? I tried their 2nd menu and enjoyed it. But I feel like I would have enjoyed the 1st menu or the current menu more.
Would say equal to the last we had (the first) - but I’m a sucker for spring (peas, asparagus, rhubarb, ramps) so it all comes down to preference.
One of the best values anywhere especially for lunch. I love that place so much. I wonder if people (including myself) say Maison Sota because just Maison is hard to google and find the right spot
And their web site is maison-sota.com.
Love the food (current menu) all in all. The crust on that boule is my favorite kind- crunchy and light. Rhubarb dessert is superb, almost reminded me of one of Red Med’s back in the day. Did all of the supplements and was comfortably full.
Don’t care for the table layout.
