on the night in question it was more kendrick lamar than david byrne (i wish). the vibe of Bestia does not compute well with high end omakase. i worry they try to run something like a modern izakaya and top level sushi-ya in the same space, and end up pleasing nobody, even if the food in both venues is top notch.
