We went to Brera for the first time in a while. It’s not as good as in its heyday but it’s still solid and still has the best risotto in town. Peony and I have the same ranking of DTLA Italian restaurants:
- Rossoblu
- Bestia
- Brera
Each place has its strengths and weaknesses. Brera’s strengths are nicest dining area, best risotto, and best gnocchi. For pizza, Bestia is easily the best.
