Since we were getting a sake as well, partner and I asked to split a draft Asahi at Tonchin. They brought us each one anyway - a good mistake that I was happy not to correct

Iki Ramen on Western.
We came for the beer. We succeeded in the beer.
NB: They also have Echigo Rice Lager on draft. I’ve never seen that in the wild before! Not at least that I can remember. Another excellent JP beer.

Their beer selection (which has excellent bottled imports as well) and their crispy rice and spicy tuna is the best combo out there.
