Pasadena Chicken Wars?

So, there’s the well executed Chick’n Shack at Shake Shack.
Meanwhile, Dave’s Hot Chicken is about to open this month in the Kitchen United space on Madison.
All the while, Howlin’ Ray’s has been doing takeout from their spot on Allen. If all the permits get approved, Ray’s will be opening an eat in spot with booze on South Arroyo Parkway in May.
My samples to date would strongly favor Ray’s, but we shall see.

Daddy’s chicken shack is also really good in the area, get the sliders to try multiple flavors.

Is this a new addition to the menu? I tried a fried chicken sandwich (at another location) ~1 yr ago. It was pretty meh.

Main Chick?

I don’t think so. They did have some Korean Chicken stuff for awhile.

Main Chick Hot Chick is my favorite in the area.

20 Union Street, eh?

Everything out of that kitchen United ghost kitchen is kinda bleh

It seems Howlin’ Ray’s will not open on the Parkway until July.
