I love trying new products, as well as products that have been around for a while, that are new to me.
I recently tried 2 spreads that are sold in Ontario, that are from companies at the One of a Kind fair, a holiday market that has somewhere around 180 food vendors, that takes place in Toronto for a couple weeks in December. There is also a second smaller One of a Kind market held in the spring.
The first spread is this Hanes Hot Date Hummus. Someone on Reddit had recommended Hanes Hummus. This flavour is distinctive and a little addictive. This is coming from someone who doesn’t typically like grocery store hummus.
I haven’t looked for this in any grocery stores yet. I’m guessing Fiesta Farms in Toronto would carry it.
Allo Simonne Almond Cardamom spread. This is stickier, thinner, sweeter and crunchier than almond butter. I love it. Allo Simone is a chocolate shop in Montreal, that sells its spreads online. Usually Quebec shops don’t ship beyond the province of Quebec.
