Way more restaurants on this list have 18%+ charges than I thought!
Though also I’m not sure how much to actually trust this–when looking through, you can see clear errors like Tsubaki being labeled as Culver City ![]()

Oh, I thought tipping was still important when picking up b/c, from what I had read here or on CH, it takes as much work (or sometimes more work) for restaurant to pack something up as it does to serve it for dine-in?
maybe if you are getting something from a very upscale place that very rarely does pick up / to go orders and they are going out of their way for you or you are picking up an upscale sushi box where they are really going out of the way for the container and presentation. those are the exception rather than the rule (at least for me).
I don’t tip the pick/pack/ship guys at Amazon
True… Although, to be fair, there isn’t an in-store pick up option for Amazon. ![]()
Last off-topic… I knew I could make returns to Whole Foods. Didn’t know I could pick up from there (not that I’m ever at Whole Foods)!
Amazon is reducing return locations which sucks. No more ups stores or Whole Foods for a lot of return items.
And what’s their hourly rate?
I’ve been returning at Kohl’s. No need to box up the item. They usually have large parking lots and not many shoppers so it’s pretty easy to get in and out. They always give you a coupon, too. Might be a boon for some.
Last time I had to return a package at kohls I waited forever
Ah dang. So I’ll add that your mileage may definitely vary when going to Kohl’s.
Some items are eligible to be returned to Amazon lockers as well.
Where was this (25 is the new 15 ?)
Yeesh which place?
What did you tip?

yikes hopefully the service was very good.
Was that split between kitchen and foh?
