Someone just built an ai scraper that parsed food Los Angeles subreddit

https://www.reddit.com/r/FoodLosAngeles/s/zFhh9HzTJU

That’s very cool for what it is, though I don’t think people here will think highly of it. To quote a Reddit user:

Mendocino Farms at 9.2 while Cobi’s is an 8.4 is crazy. Tons of grocery stores with high ratings as well too.

LLM = garbage in, garbage out.

I don’t care about what will be decided but in today’s political climate can we have another number than 47 (or otherwise I assume it is intentionally)

I am not tied to the number 47 - if there’s a consensus or quorum that it should be changed I wouldn’t mind doing so. I only used 47 as it’s the same number @J_L used for the list he put together back in 2019.

The LA 51 2025 is now live:

@honkman as you can see I changed it from 47 to 51 entries. Seems like a more coherent number anyways, and it mirrors the LA Times in that it’s a nice big round number, plus 1 more.

In 15 years when Nick Fuentes is president, I will probably have to change the number again.
