I saw that they were limiting the number of guests to 150 for the entire event.
How long are the lines for weekdays now?
And, if Heritage was in Texas, how would it rank over there? Just another good BBQ place, or would it considered one of the best BBQ places in Texas?

Anyone get tickets to their 2 year anniversary on August 13th? over 50 other pitmasters from all over the country will be there including snows. Should be a pretty epic event!
They are opening up a 10,000 sq ft restaurant and brewery down in Oceanside. Good for them. 18 beers on tap. Wheeee.
So Heritage opened in Oceanside with a menu that didn’t include meats by he pound. I assumed it was a soft opening thing but then saw this IG post today. They offer lots of intriguing sandwich and specialty items, but this is an interesting development.
That’s unfortunate. I thought they built a similar offset smoker for Oceanside and they would eventually sell meats by the lb.

Think I read somewhere that other meats will be smoked in Oceanside but brisket needs the offset so will be done in SJC.
The vibe is much more brewpub than typical bbq spot too, I think they’re really going for a different angle.
