Is that a biscuit? That looks like a roll to me.
But I’ve been wrong before, and I will surely be wrong again.

I’ve never seen a square biscuit.
No Those are biscuits and they’re served hot with butter and boysenberry jam.
They’re in the same aisle as glass bottled water.
Laugh. Out. Loud!!!
John O Groats. Closest thing to good homemade I’ve found.
(Cuz heck, bad homemade is easy to find!)
Kind of surprising, didn’t have tons of regulars?

Are you saying they are closed? I know the John O Groats in Encino closed, the new one, but I’m pretty sure the one on Pico is still open.
I think he is saying that he is surprised their biscuits are bad considering how well liked it is… (at least that is what it sounds like you are saying…)
Got my threads confused. Thought I was reading a closure announcement lol oops
Thank you @ipsedixit and @DTLAeater for the rec.
Got the last order of biscuits last Friday night at ERB.
The are rucking fidiculous. Flaky, crispy lined clouds of butter fluff.
Agree on ERB. As good as I’ve had, and I basically like all biscuits.

Those look amazing. (Yet another confirm of Ipsedixit’s good taste!)
When you say “The last order” were you there, um, hopefully, late? Because I’d love to try them and if I get there at 6pm and they are gone? I will weep.
