Thanks. I hate the Yelp mobile app. I typed in corkage but nothing came up
Finally made it to Vin Folk. Our four top loved it. From the exceptional service to the fantastic food, everything about VF is top notch. Possibly, my favorite dining experience au moment. Love the vibe and business model. Sergio came by several times. I asked about mostarda for the Porchetta. He agreed there should some. Maybe soon. Special shout out to the somm who took good care of the wines I brought.
could not agree more, love it
also love it is not a tasting menu
Another stellar dinner. I love this place. Food, service and ambience are all top notch for me. We managed to only repeat one dish.

Porchetta
There’s still a few items I haven’t tried.
everything
Not for me. The beef tartar and tomato salad with smoked mackerel was not the best. Deserts also seem underwhelming, but we only tried the one.
If you are looking to dine as party of 4 under the new format, you’ll have a choice of:
- 5:00ish…early bird hours
- 8:00ish…night hours
Nothing in between since they want to be able to turn the table twice.
I’m just trying to have a normal dinner with friends. Not a fan of this.
very disappointing that they’re moving off of the à la cart format
I think they are looking for a *.
Vin Folk will be offering à la carte on the patio, but apparently a smaller selection.
Wanting a star is part of it but my guess is also they need to make it more of a destination. Reservations were consistently available for all times of the day and I think they just priced themselves out of being a restaurant for the people in the area. More people traveling to it, higher check average. We’ll see if it works but hoping it does for them…I like the food
I imagine a big part of it is controlling costs. It’s so much more manageable to have a tasting menu with all the ingredients.
The tasting menu is very disappointed.
Ooof give us the deets!
