What Are You Baking

yup! I really liked how it came out, (and fairly easy to make) I’d probably up the buckwheat even a bit

Came across this recipe when I was hoping to recreate the banana sheet cake from Bristol Farms (iykyk).

Very pleased with the results. (Lumps in the glaze because I didn’t bother to sift the powdered sugar - next time I will.) This one will go into the regular baking rotation. Boyfriend proclaimed it better than Bristol Farms because it was more banana-y.

My son hates caramel. Do you think it would be just as tasty without the glaze? Or maybe I would need to add more sugar?

I think it would still be really good plain, or maybe with a different glaze / icing.

Snacking cakes are usually designed to be great on their own without any topping, but either a vanilla or a chocolate glaze or drizzle would pair well with banana.

I made Koulouri/ Simit with my pretzel dough today. Baked at 375⁰F convection on for 14 minutes, to an internal temp of 210⁰ F.
