actually i dunno - i got the gofundme from their insta Bulgarini on Instagram: "So many of you have reached out, and apologies for not responding, there have been so many inquiries! Your love and support during this scary time is felt and is carrying us. In this time of SO much uncertainty, we are humbly asking our community to rally around us as we seek out what it means to recover from this nightmare. As you may have seen, the restaurant is still standing. What you may have also seen is that almost nothing around the restaurant survived. While we are grateful not have experienced this loss to the fullest extent (which so many of our neighboring businesses have) our restaurant is totally unusable as a safe space to serve or eat food. Because the business is not a total loss, the insurance money for disasters like this is not available in the amounts needed to continue. Even if the county allows businesses to reopen, much of the town is displaced. Altadena is currently a disaster zone, so it will not be a fine dining travel destination for a long time. The future is uncertain, but what IS certain is that Bulgarini will be back.
