I think Arthur is a great chef but is not the most business-minded person out there.
banged it before morihiro. sandwich is as good as the iii mas days, as @sk8uno mentioned i think they’re using wagyu and a different cheese. really liked the butter kyuftah too.
power rankings forthcoming @Clayfu?
basturma brisket
yogurt kyuftah
butter kyuftah
Not sure how much this helps index, but Moo’s is $42/lb for brisket, $20 for the brisket sandwich (not quite analogous).
also not helpful but there is probably not a restaurant in the city that disappoints me more than Moo’s, ha.
“$21 for a salad too wow”
I guess I’d say, “Ow!”
THIS WAS GOATED
Avi Cue sells a 2-serving-size wagyu pita for $27. And they also sell a half size for $15.
Heritage BBQ
Brisket Sando $18
Brisket $41/lb.
Though black Angus and not wagyu.
i like saffy’s because of the bread.
Also relevant: what kind of “wagyu” are they using? Purebred or hybrid? Japanese (unlikely), Australian, domestic?
Westholme cross.
I thought the meat in the sandwich I had there for lunch recently was undercooked, but looking at these pics I guess it’s intentional. Weird that I don’t remember the shawarma plate they do for dinner ever coming out that rare…
