Thanks we’re headed to La Jolla in a couple of week for vacation. Del Mar races, Zoo, Coronado Island, etc… We have our usual places we will hit up
Bird Rock Coffee, Wayfarer, An’s Dry Cleaning, Luigi’s Pizza, North Park Brewery, El Pescador Fish Market, Snooz and Hillcrest FM.

Anybody been to places I had bookmarked (some overlap with Addison’s list)
Kingfisher
Marisi
Callie
Fort Oak
Kingfisher Wood Fired Grill
Looking for 1 maybe 2 nicer dinners.

Jeune et Jollie is really nice (I assume you have a car since they are in Carlsbad).
For us Juniper & Ivy is always a stop when we are in SD.
Et Voila for bistro French. Trust - same owners as Fort Oak

Jeune et Joile would be great except I have my little brats with me.

Always forget about Juniper & Ivy. That was one of the first sit down restaurants we ever took our kids. Have not been back in years. We had the whole outdoor patio to ourselves and enjoyed ourselves.

We had a good meal at Cardellino which is also part of the Trust group. Will check out Trust.

We liked Callie although coming from LA/OC it might be just ok for you.

If you’re looking for a quick meal check out Hawaiian Fresh Seafood in Sorrento valley or UTC if chains like Marugame are ok.

La Corriente from TJ opened recently. Also Las Morelianas, Oscar’s or City tacos.

I’ve heard good things about Marisi, Hmitsu and Catania but never been to any of them.

Have a nice trip!
