+1 also wondering…
Anyone try it yet?
I’ve been a number of times and really enjoy it.
That’s endorsement enough for me
Agree with @matthewkang
Went last night. Thought it was OUTSTANDING.
Limited (4) but excellent quality banchan. Wonderful salad.
Very unique and delicious seafood pancake - 4 thicker pancakes with chunky, tasty bits of shrimp, mussels, squid.
Very spicy and tasty Kimchee fried rice.
Meat was fantastic Aussie Waygu.
And not crazy expensive.
Great setting and crowd.
Attentive service.
Full bar.
I don’t usually think “elevated” K-BBQ is much better than trad but this is quite a step up.
nice! glad it delivered for you. i like how the pricing is not excessive, but imo right on point for what you get.
I left that out of my review-let: I was expecting it to cost a ton, or for the steak portions to be minuscule but neither was the case.
Better QPR than Park’s?
'bout the same I think but I have never ordered waygu at Parks so I do not know the portion size.
“Camembert cheese aged”?
AB Steak was quite tasty, sort of like a cross between KBBQ and a high end steak house.
Drinks were pretty well crafted, the Sidecar Pop was definitely one that stood out.
Banchan was all fine, the green peppers were particularly memorable. The kimchi had a nice sourness and a slight amount of heat.
The beef tartare was excellent and very unique. Right up there with one of the tastiest I have had in the city.
The seafood pancake was decent, chunks of seafood and quite thick compared to others I have had. They were a little hard to cut, so I just ended up picking them up and eating with my hands.
Ordered the new galbi fried rice, served in a stone bowl but little to no crispy rice and the whole dish was just too sweet. The trumpet mushrooms were tasty but just overwhelmed with the sweet flavor. No pictures because they came out blurry.
For meats, we got the AB Grand Short Rib and the 45 day dry aged ribeye . Both were great, however the dry aged ribeye was delicious, especially with the sea salt or the wasabi. Delicious!
Went over the weekend and really enjoyed. Banchan was ok, but I thought the fried rice (we got both the kimchi vegetarian and bulgogi ones) and of course the meat were standouts. My favorite cut was the dry aged ribeye but rest of the table liked the various marinated cuts. Forgot to take pics of meat but we also got japchae, egg soufflé, and a noodle soup.
