I was there last night! Thanks to the lovely respondents from my request I had pre Other Art Fair dinner at Skaf’s on York. It was quite good - we shared baba ghanouj, spicy garlic potatoes, and a CYO kabob plate with lamb and kafta. With our drinks and tip it was $35/pp.
My friend got us the tickets so I don’t know where the park and ride option pick up was. I can tell you street parking is quite difficult, and the immediate food options are limited.
Other Atwater lunch options I’ve had recently and really enjoyed - the India’s Sweets and Spices.

I might be too late for this but aside from what others have listed: Dune is killer for Mediterranean, Proof has great sandwiches, Bar Sinizki for a drink and a bite or if you want to venture slightly further out hit El Sauz on Chevy Chase and San Fernando for an asada burrito.

Thanks for all the great reccos- just finished up at Holy Basil and it was fantastic! Only went once to downtown location when they first opened.
