I love this restaurant. I think it should have a Michelin star. The best dishes are those on the detached seasonal menu. Peony and I both thought the hot pot eel rice was better than Majordomo’s crispy rices. The noodles with shrimp and scallion sauce are amazing. Braised jiao bai (mistakenly translated as bamboo shoots) is wonderful. At worst some dishes are just good.
