If someone disagrees with a moderation decision, any discussion belongs in Site Feedback rather than in a discussion of food.
I wasnât aware that this was a critique of the moderation, but a question of the intent of the poster.
Just because someone might not like something posted on Facebook doesnât mean theyâre questioning the moderation of Facebook.
and it was completely appropriate because it was in direct response to the OP. In a place where the OP would see the conversation.
Funny, I didnât read any of these posts as being critical of the moderator or being feedback on the site. As much as feedback on the original poster
The chef / ownerâs posts were flagged as spam, which I rejected. Discussion of whether someone elseâs posts are appropriate belong in Site Feedback. Posts in the original topic should be about pizza and any other food the place offers.
Makes zero sense in this case. But, as you point out, you are the moderator/owner.
The site is for talking about food, not for meta shit or generic social-media bickering.
I, the head cook and owner, was only giving early preview to the fine folks of this platform for the latest pizza creation before we blasted the messaging out on other platforms.
We appreciate the support and the business.
Off to bake delicious pizzas for our customers.
Cheers!

Listen man, if I was taking a vacation somewhereâŚand asking a group of food inclined individuals where I should go when Iâm down there. I think something within an hour in a part of the region where most travelers might be going is not an unreasonable recommendation. Especially considering multiple users suggested spots in that area.
An hour is an hour is an hour.
Hold up Robert, youâre really going to move my post because YOU wouldnât make the drive from ensanada to Valle after some drinks or even sober?
Your personal preferences for how you explore a region arenât indicative of everyones tastes.
Hereâs a good proof point - my friends went down to the region a few weeks ago and told me they were âgoing to ensenadaâ and when I asked where they were staying in Valle De Guadalupe. AndâŚagain - tons of users were referencing spots in the region if not the city itself.
Not unreasonable at all. Iâve traveled 3 hrs for lunch and then back 3 hrs for dinner, and I know others who have done more hardcore food travel.
An hour of travel for food isnât bad at all, people do it all the time when on vacation, and I definitely know people who do it for lunch, shopping for some new release, golf, some anime / Godzilla / action figure / collectible thingâŚ
Whatâs nice is that traveling a little bit out can take you to explore another region and get some diverse experiences.
San Sebastian proper (where most visitors stay while visiting that region) is a full hour driving from Asador Etxebarri, and yet no one I know even bats an eyelash at the prospect of making the shlep to have dinner there. One hour each way.
Somebody looking for recs in Guadalupe might not look in the Ensenada topic. Iâm the moderator and it made sense to me to move the posts. Somebody doesnât like it, canât you find better ways to waste your time?
Yes, you are the owner and moderator. However, I think you couldâve simply left it that (or simply put a link to the conversation where you felt it should go), rather than aiming the comment like the above at a regular and contributing poster on this forum.
I think a comment like that is really below the belt and very unnecessary.
I could have done a variety of things but I chose one and then explained why. Further complaints are a waste of time.
FTC is my favorite waste of time
