Baked some bread



pretty standard no knead bread recipe

I’m finding out that they’re not all the same but don’t worry about it at all.

Here’s what I used for this loaf:

3 cups AP flour
1/4 tbsp dry yeast
1 tbsp salt
1.5 cups water

Proofed for 12 hours but you can really do with much less. I’ve seen it done with as little as 2 hours, but use hot water if you’re going to do a short proof.

Bake 30 min at 450 in hot dutch oven
Bake another 15 min w/ lid off to get the color

I had never successfully baked bread until this recipe. A few differences and I had bread to eat within three hours.
