service was good, food alright. overall it feels a bit safe, but i think they hit their intended mark. nothing bad, but food, drinks, and wine list a bit safe / mild. vongole didn’t really come together (not more than the sum of its parts, clams OK (one iffy), mild clam flavor, and while cremosi isn’t necessary, the sauce didn’t bind to the too-wide noodles). space is pretty nice but a fair bit brighter and smaller than i thought it would be from pictures. guests seemed to be enjoying themselves for a night out and lots of parties tried to walk in. it doesn’t have the feel of say Horses which was a hotspot to which it was compared. feels like a concept by a group, though polished. it’s right next to Noma Projects.

so…are we going to regret our 9:30 p.m. reservation tonight?

W: I thought it was just “fine / pretty good,” except for the pastas we ordered (trofie and cavatelli), which I thought were quite good. Everything about the restaurant is nice, and I would return.

P: nice place, pretty good Italian restaurant. I’d come back again.
