Didn’t have its own thread but thought it deserves.
this is maybe the most improved restaurant in the last year. Menu is firing right now with a great mix of (credited) produce on the menu. Great spins on bistro dishes but has transcended French quite a bit.
Highlights were a fried brioche stuffed with chicken liver mousse that was like shrimp toast meets mousse with peach jam, a ricotta cavatelli with a tomato and Nduja ragu, great munak tomato dish with whipped tofu and savory granola. The arguably signature cheese tart was fucking GOOD. Nice polenta cake dessert with chocolate ganache. Great wine list at nice prices with their Domaine association .
we had 15 people so it wasn’t the ideal situation for a restaurant to fire so many dishes at once and they crushed it.
