Bazaar Meat - Las Vegas

I had planned on going elsewhere, but decided on Bazaar Meat since I couldn’t get reservations to a few other places.

It turned out to be a great evening. Fun, relaxed and entertaining.

First, can I say that it was pleasant to pull into Sahara and not have to pay for parking? Granted it’s seems about a hundred miles away from the center of the Strip, so I suppose they need to make it up to folks somehow.

The walk through the casino itself was pretty short. And the casino wasn’t crowded at all when compared to the Aria on a bustling Friday evening. There was a fair amount of people, but the walkways were open and spacious and a far cry from the packed Conservatory at the Bellagio.

We had a spacious booth close to the meat counter. A nice way to catch dinner and a show from the charcoal grills/ovens.

Service was great…very welcoming.

Caviar cone - crème fraiche, osetra…a fun bite.

Cotton candy foie - still think this is a great bite

Classic tartare - great alone, but when shoved in fresh and hot Parkerhouse rolls it tasted like eating a delicious burger

Not pictured…the albondigas…some of the best meatballs we’ve ever eaten.

Nitro caipirinha - not gonna lie…this is still a fun sorbet/palate cleanser between bites

Ribeye Waygu/Black Angus (TX) - cooked to perfection

Buttered potato purée - I haven’t had Robuchon potatoes, yet…but I will say these are pretty damn fine. They tasted of cultured butter as soon as they hit my tongue.

Requisite vegetables - asparagus with Romesco and roasted carrots with yogurt

Tarts - “Snickers,” cheesecake with mixed berry compote, key lime, and guava passionfruit

It was a really nice evening. The team says the LA location should open sometime in October.

@attran99 what were the other restaurants you were trying to go to? Trying to find a fun place for a Bach party with good food.

Also is bazaar fun enough to be Bach party worthy?

I wanted to go to go one of the Robuchons or Rivea. But no dice.

I think Bazaar Meat would be great as a bachelor party…the vibe is pretty fun and the music is definitely club-adjacent. Cocktails and wines will go toe-to-toe with the food. I’d give them a call and let them know if you decide to make the reservation. I’m sure they will set you up right.

Our 8PM reservation found us in a pretty crowded, but not packed to the gills restaurant.

It all depends on what mood or how hard y’all want to throw down…and what your plans are for after this dinner.

If you want an all club night feel with dinner, then TAO or Hakkasan might fit the bill…or PUMP at Caesar’s…but those would be for drinks and vibe alone. I’m older and civilized now…I can’t do those kinds of nights anymore. I roll my eyes internally when my friends want a scene-y or club night.

@attran99 have you been to cut? Trying to decide between that and bazaar as backups.

Bazaar definitely has the more interesting menu but cut will be much more convenient.

I have not been to CUT…so sorry.

I’m gonna page @A5KOBE @moonboy403 @Ns1 @BlurA14 @js76wisco as some of the folks known to hit Vegas on a more regular basis.

It’s a bachelor party, just go to momofuku and call it a day. They are built for this.

It’ll put you right at the cosmo for all the post eating activities too.

I haven’t been to CUT in LV. We have it in LA so I probably won’t ever go to their LV branch.

I personally prefer Bazaar Meat over CUT though. Bazaar’s menu is much more interesting…

Their large format has been shortened and honestly rest of the menu seems pretty meh

Went to Cut once in Vegas a very long time ago and it was not up to the same standards as LA. I think there are much more fun interesting places for a bachelor party than a steakhouse.

I’d go for Bazaar Meat over Cut between the two options.
