Family of 4 (2 teenage sons) who eat everything. Had a birthday dinner this Thursday scheduled at Chubby Cattle Japantown, which, uh, let’s just say those plans went “down the toilet.” So now we’re stuck but perhaps a blessing in disguise - where can we go on short notice for a good dinner, perhaps more meat heavy but with pasta/rice dish options for my wife? Pretty open on ethnicity… was thinking Majordomo if we can swing the resy.
email kinjiro, they may have availability.
That was the first thing that came to my mind.
Rossoblu?
Hehe, I know some boards don’t allows food violation talk but my 14yo was so excited for Chubby Cattle that I was doing it for him. Then last night, the Tiktok’s started popping up on my wife’s feed about people getting sick at CC. My son was devastated this morning when he found out we weren’t going although Major Domo is a nice consolation prize.
Chi Spacca?
So majordomo or do you still need ideas?
Matu has dinner reservations open for 4 people for Thursday. That would be my recommendation.
Chi Spacca might fit the bill.
Antico Nuovo?
Thanks all! have to check these out now. We shifted Major Domo to Sunday bc we want the beef rib dish but its so big, we’re gonna be able to eat leftovers on Monday/Tuesday.
Dang, Matu looks amazing, but I’m not sure there is enough non-beef options for my wife who is mostly pasta and veggies these days…
Matu is really good --unique and delicious, but yeah, very challenging for non-meat folks.
