I love Lexington Market before the Friday lunch crowd rolls in. Easy to park. Easy to walk, and low crowds.

After a stroll to peruse the entire market, the decision was easy. A crab cake and some oysters for brunch.

This crab cake is massive, made with local crab, and has very little filler. A terrific crab cake. I would gladly pay another $25 for another.


Local Chesapeake mediums…and larges. Nice oysters, but poorly shucked since they lost most of the liquor and I found bits of shell and sand/dirt.

Didn’t have time for them to steam some fresh, maybe tomorrow.
