Brad Ray (formerly of Antico, Nomad, Eleven Madison park, Etta) has the summer and decided to start selling ice cream. For anyone that loves Antico’s ice cream - that’s all Brad.

He’s spinning 4 quarts at a time at home in Arcadia

I grabbed a couple pints on his first batch of the summer - Wong’s family Valencia pride mango ice cream ($22) and and a Harry’s berry’s strawberry’s. ($20) cause I’m a sucker for fruit ice cream.

After my first bite of the mango ice cream I immediately texted him

I just love how creamy and lush his ice cream is without being too sweet. Especially fruit based. So often fruit based ice cream gets overly confectionery and almost tastes artificial.

I went back and picked up another order yesterday of some non fruit (and more mango) flavors. Will update when I try em!

I think currently in the freezer is Peach from Tenerelli orchards, vanilla pistachio crunch, coffee cookies and cream, mango.

Just heard back from him. Peach and Mint Oreo available at the moment with Strawberry on the way.

He had mango as well when I picked up. The fruit flavors are unreal.

Mango and espresso cookies and cream for this weekend at $23 and $20 a pint respectively. Pickup is in/around Arcadia/SGV and DM the account to order.
