Burrito, coffee, lunch -- anywhere along I-40

Going to take a bit of time off and drive through the desert.

Anyone have a line on a good meal between Kingman, Arizona and Albuquerque, New Mexico? I have friends who’ve enjoyed Jerry’s in Gallup, but I’m open to (desperate for) suggestions.

Martanne’s Burrito (add bacon) at Martanne’s Restaurant in Flagstaff.

Hot black coffee. Spicy green chile burrito. Service is friendly. Crowd is eclectic. Parking is competitive.

Not a bad spot, if a little self-aware. Getting closer to my ideal breakfast burrito, which is absolutely hidden beneath a pile of cheese, sauce, and chile.

Not directly off I-40: breakfast burrito (add bacon) at The Pantry in Santa Fe.

Great architecture, every bite an equal blend of egg, cheese, tortilla, chile, bacon. I missed that it didn’t come with a potato component, but I was very satisfied with it.

That’s a burrito with rice, beans, and hash browns?

That’s right. Halfway through everything felt a little redundant.
