Went with my friends for a dinner in the city.
Y’all were not kidding when you say it’s run by one person. Chef was doing it all for a space that can hold 25-30 people. Heeding your warnings I made sure my companions understood this prior to in order to manage their expectations.
We arrived for our 7:30 reservation and the restaurant was almost at capacity. Go here with folks you can have a leisurely meal with because there will be lulls in when chef can touch our table.
There wasn’t any sake for sake cocktails and we got the last beer for micheladas for our Saturday meal.
Gonna photo dump the food. Loved the ceviches. Lots of flavor…lots of fun. There was a tuna sashimi dish that reminded me of a meal we had recently at the Cabo hotel we stayed at. Drizzled with soy and garnished with mango and cucumber. Also enjoyed the aguachile verde. We weren’t brave enough to do the habanero.
Lighting wasn’t ideal.
We closed out the restaurant and went down the street to Corazon for a night cap and dessert.
