Cherry Tiramisu

Where can I find one near Fremont, Newark, Union City, or closest to that? I can venture farther out too.

Is that even a thing? Where have you had it before? Or where did you hear about it?

I’ve never heard of such a thing. Yelp finds one mention at Gold Palm in Oakland, but that might have been a cocktail. Google finds a few recipes. Mascarpone and cherries sounds good.

My cousin said he was going to have one yesterday. I’m trying to find out where he’s getting it from. He lives outside the Bay Area.

I will update this thread once I know where he got his from.

After he told me about it, I saw recipes online for it. So it appears to be a thing. Now wondering if I can buy it, rather than make it.

That’s what I’m thinking too. If I can find one, this could be game changing. As in, this could be how I want tiramisu from now on.

It’s been a few years since I’ve had tiramisu. Seems like a good time to try one now, and try it in a different way than I’ve had it before.

It’s hard to find real mascarpone imported from Italy these days. None of the American-manufactured “mascarpone” I’ve tried tasted at all like the real thing. Even the American-made Galbani is wrong.

Ok, all of this was a misunderstanding. I misinterpreted a joke because one of the words was in another language, but I didn’t recognize that.

Based on what I understood at that time, I then thought he really had a cherry tiramisu. And then it was funny that I saw recipes online for it.

BUT, now with proper understanding, no, he doesn’t know any places with a cherry tiramisu. But now he also agrees, when I asked him about it on a phone call, it does sound good.
