I went to Yaw a couple years ago after narrowing that down as the most interesting place to check out in Vegas while having time for one coffee shop
Glad I went. I’d recommend it, guy was chill and space relaxed

Cafe De Olla Latte with oat was very enjoyable on this rainy/cool weekend. Nice shop!

Really tasty Thai inspired fall-ish latte from Heavy Water. This is a great shop and they roast as well. Naturally Bakers Bench is a must. Egg roll croissant sold out

love heavy water a ton. arguably one of the best named shops in the world.
for South Bay people, Junia Cafe in Gardena will likely be great. Dayglow legend Mike Alcoran runs the bar there.

I actually heard about this place.
TBH I was a little wary about a new shop opening up. It can be hard to tell which shop is serious about coffee. I think most shops have to include fun drinks to survive because that’s what expected via Tik Tok and IG. This sentiment is from various baristas I spoke with.
They hate cream tops lol and wish it would die out BUT it pays the bills so what can you do?

Junia. Cortado. A little unbalanced towards the bottom tbh not an easy drink to make. Did not get the Dayglow legend/Sergio making this drink. Will be back. Pretty often.
Pour over currently are Flower Child from Oakland (via Sey, Brooklyn, NY I think) and Moim from Los Angeles.
Also down the street is Pit Burger a South Bay LA hood classic!!!
