Some nice meals to end the year!
Pacific Diner, San Pedro (whoa we’re still in LA? ohhh that’s how you pronounce Pedro. It’s like the Houston trick in NY!) - John Wayne Special: sausage, eggs, potatoes, peppers, “Spanish sauce” and cheese piled onto some tortillas.
Gjelina - I went for lunch; the only time they serve their delicious lamb burger that is always worth getting. The veggies and plates are the way to go here, and I think I will skip the pizza the next time. I really enjoyed the umami burst and char in the grilled oyster mushrooms with tarragon butter.
Donna’s - Been too long since I had a nice Italian meal. A black walnut Manhattan, chicken parm, pasta alla vodka, caesar salad and tiramisu to end the year right.
