Domaine LA Closing

My best to Jill. She built an amazing business and really helped shape the natural wine movement here. Cheers!

This is sad news, but I am excited to see what’s coming with Bar Etoile (as hinted at in the IG post). Between Bar Etoile and Domaine LA, Jill has done a lot to improve this part of LA.

So unfortunate…I went recently and found one of the most fun champagnes I’ve had in quite some time.

We will miss them immensely. I hope everyone on staff is able to land on their feet.

Sad news, but hopefully she can find a smaller space and open up a nice shop with bottles that really resonate with her.

What’s the champagne you loved?

Does Bar Etoile do off-sale? Their wine list looks to have about as many bottles as Domaine LA. The IG post says the wine club will be continuing there.

Julian, who opened it (and is the top comment on the IG post), started at Domaine. Right now they do not do off sale. I guess the wine club pick up will be at the restaurant for the foreseeable future?

Damn that place was awesome, at least it sounds like it’s not for lack of business but more to retool and reform. Hope to see them back soon
