What are you guys planning for Easter or Passover?
I made one of these Hot Cross Bun breakfast sandwiches on Good Friday a few years ago. Inspired by the Dusty Knuckle Bakery in the UK. Marmalade is added, as a tangy note.
Love the HXB for Hot Cross Bun, not to be confused with XLB (Xiao Long Bao/ soup dumpling)

My Lemon and Olives Koulourakia before baking
My baked Kolourkia
My hot cross buns with cardamom, cinnamon, ground ginger, a little ground clove, vanilla extract, dried cherries, and dried currants. No orange zest or juice.
Six 75 gram buns before baking, baked at 400 F convection on for 18 minutes, to reach 209 F internally.
