First modern upscale Guangzhou style restaurant opens in SoCal and it’s not in the San Gabriel Valley. Rather Long He has opened up in Tustin, not coincidentally only a mile and a half from Chang’an, one of the most expensive Chinese restaurants in America and convenient to the wealthiest Chinese neighborhood in America, Orchard Hills in the city of Irvine. Long He is not in the price stratosphere like Chang’an, and is reminiscent to me of Bistro Na or Array 36 with a Cantonese twist. Many interesting and visual dishes like these pomegranate seaweed dumplings
And pine nut corn fish served in Chinese ice cream cones instead of lettuce cups.
