went today - not a lot of vegetarian options (per usual for dimsum). Noting from what my friends ate - their dumpling skins are way over steamed cause every single one ripped when grabbing it.
Radish cake was very light and tasty.
The salted egg yolk bun was just ok. Incredibly oily inside and minimal salted egg yolk flavor, but was just ok as well, thought other places in LA do it better.
Wagyu beef chow fun - i ate some of the noodles, a bit too mushy and fairly bland.
Stir fry mushroom dish was REALLY good.
Veggie dumpling was ok. Ripped when I grabbed it.
That all being said - my friends that are not vegetarians really liked it. One said it was his favorite dimsum place in LA.
But to me the over steaming is a big no no - can’t be the top when your skin is either poorly done and /or oversteamed. Especially for the price, it’s definitely the priciest dimsum around.
