Was driving by the former Maradentro and saw that the sign now simply says, “Evan.” An internet search turns up an under-construction website and a bartender position that notes a “Vibrant and exciting new steakhouse coming in town” w/ British spelling in other parts of the job posting.

The liquor license is pending with a Ramin Nouri as the listed officer. Looks like he owns the Pita Cafe mini chain?
Grand opening is Aug 7th.
And apparently Evan will now be replaced w/ Pita Cafe (per a new sign outside).
Has anybody tried the food at any of the Pita Cafes?
I think this location is just major-ly cursed and must have bad feng shui. Although I am far more likely to try Pita Cafe than I am Evan (or Maradentro).
